American Culture and Experience (ACE) Program

The American Culture and Experience Program (ACE) started out in 2011 and is targeted to help international students to gain more knowledge of the American culture and English language. This course is designed for students who have no (or very little) experience in American culture to acquire basic skills in language and communication skills. The course is highly interactive, and you are encouraged to work with your classmates and tutors in and out of class so that you can have better understanding toward American culture and communicate effectively in English. Not only will students broaden their knowledge, they will also go on excursions around Arkansas such as Little Rock, Mount Magazine and Northwest Arkansas. They will volunteer  and intern at local elementary schools, businesses and different departments on campus.
